QA Engineer - India

POSITION SUMMARY 

We are looking for an experienced Associate/QA Engineer who is proficient in both manual and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing web applications, Software automation and other software products to ensure they meet quality standards. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.  

• Partner with Engineering on test automation efforts and ensure that efforts support the testing solutions.  
• Work collaboratively with QA and engineering teams to deliver world-class software solutions that meet and exceed quality standards. 
• Manage priorities effectively to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality testing solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. 
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying, documenting, and resolving defects, going beyond assigned tasks to uncover potential issues. 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation, and implement improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• 2 years+ of progressive, hands-on manual testing and automation engineering in an enterprise software environment;  
• Strong familiarity with standard concepts and technologies used in web-based applications and testing web-based applications is required;  
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required;  
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile product development environment;  
• Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive production schedules and deadlines;  

Desired:  

• Experience with some or most of these technologies and tools is desirable: 
  • Jira - issue tracking 
  • Selenium/Python - automation 
  • Playwright 
  • Testrail - testcase management
