About the Role:
The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for the P&C department at our manufacturing facility. The role requires a solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has passion for positive employee interactions and solving their problems.
This role will report to the Human Resources Business Partner.
This is a full-time, on-site role with company benefits based out of Brea, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain a welcoming P&C department experience for employees, receiving and directing team members as necessary.
- Assist with employee relations issues, including administrative support of disciplinary actions and resolutions, in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements.
- Answer basic employee questions, as appropriate, documenting the interactions.
- Coordinate with the Operations team for key announcements, as required.
- Support the maintenance of employee data in company’s HR Information System.
- Support tracking of training records.
- Support HR and related audits as needed.
- Partner with the wider P&C team to maintain office policies as necessary.
- Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing P&C team.
- Learn all things Dr. Squatch manufacturing facility-related and help our employees have the best, harmonious onsite experience.
About You:
- 2 years of experience in human resources or similar administrative support experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Professional, positive, friendly, play to win attitude, and a team player.
- Ability to independently function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech savvy and good with troubleshooting beneficial.
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or CPG industries.
- Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency.
- Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome.
- Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor.
