IT Lead

We’re Hiring: IT Lead – Join the Team!

Are you passionate about technology, systems, and building reliable IT environments? We’re looking for an IT Lead to join our team in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and take ownership of our company’s technology ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll lead IT operations end-to-end — from infrastructure and security to support and system performance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our technology is secure, scalable, and aligned with business growth. Key Responsibilities

• Own company-wide IT systems, architecture, and technology standards.
• Define and maintain infrastructure, hardware, software, and network standards.
• Ensure systems are scalable, well-documented, and aligned with business needs.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for IT strategy and technical direction.
• Ensure availability, security, and reliability of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Own IT security practices, including access control, backups, and risk mitigation.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities or failures.
• Lead incident response and resolution for critical IT issues.
• Define and maintain IT support processes, priorities, and service level standards.
• Ensure consistent handling of tickets, incidents, and user requests.
• Continuously improve response times and end-user support experience.
• Plan and manage IT capacity to support current and future business needs.
• Oversee lifecycle management of hardware, software, and licenses.
• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and IT suppliers.
• Evaluate tools and platforms to optimize cost, performance, and reliability.
• Identify technology risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership with clear recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and system optimization.
• Lead initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT, including some experience in a leadership role.
  Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (Azure or equivalent).
  Experience with software license administration and IT inventory management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Solid understanding of modern cybersecurity practices and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
