Creative Director - Lifestyle Marketing

Detroit, Michigan, United States

**must be able to work hybrid in the Detroit office 3 days/week (may consider Chicago or NYC)**
**please note we'll begin reviewing applications in the New Year**

We’re seeking a passionate Creative Director with an uncompromising eye for detail to join our team, crafting high-touch, luxury-lifestyle experiences for iconic global brands in the automotive sector.

You should be able to turn strategic insights into elevated, modern brand experiences across sports, travel, art and design partnerships. If you instinctively track cultural shifts, think fluidly across mediums, obsess over craft, and bring refined ideas to life with precision and passion, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design culture-moving experiences: Concept and craft elevated brand experiences that feel bold and modern, built for audiences who expect the exceptional.
  • Build stories people feel: Create presentations that marry smart strategy with smart creative thinking—and make clients inspired, excited and confident.
  • Share an inspiring vision: Present ideas with clarity, charisma, and passion—bringing the emotional core of a concept to life.
  • Build a brand world: From spatial design to content, from fashion details to culinary touches—you’ll ensure every element speaks the same language.
  • Collaborate with creators: Work with internal teams and world-class partners, tastemakers, and influencers to deliver creative that is bold and breaks through, while accomplishing client objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Creative Development

  • Create ideas that tap what’s next: Develop concepts inspired by emerging cultural trends, contemporary design, and shifts in luxury behavior.
  • Build campaigns, not tactics: Work with strategists, designers and account leads to translate brand and business goals into layered, multi-faceted brand experiences.
  • Know the audience: Understand the nuances of modern luxury consumers—their references, their expectations, their standards.
  • Bring cultural intel to the table: Share insights from new tech, architecture and design, the art world, niche communities, and underground trends.

Flawless Execution

  • Own creative from start to finish: Protect the idea through every stage—concepting, build, install, and everything in between.
  • Obsess over craft: Partner with creative, production and vendors to ensure every detail is intentional, premium, and exceptionally executed.
  • Push the work forward: Champion new materials, technologies and talent, always rethinking and reinventing what a brand experience can be.

Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly across disciplines: Keep storytelling sharp and design cohesive by partnering closely with design, production, strategy, and account teams.
  • Keep the idea alive: Maintain creative integrity even when timelines shift or budgets flex.
  • Cultivate community: Help foster a culture where ideas flow, every voice is heard, and collaboration feels energizing and fun.

Requirements:

You Bring

  • At least 7 years in luxury, lifestyle or culturally driven brand work
  • Strong conceptual instincts and the ability to think in 360-experiences
  • Confidence leading multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Calm under pressure and an eye for detail, detail, detail
  • Automotive industry experience a plus

How You Show Up

  • You say “yes” more than “no”
  • You’re energized by pace—and thrive in high-end, high-style environments
  • You treat deadlines as non-negotiable
  • You carry the confidence and polish required to partner with top-tier clients

How You Amplify Our Culture

  • You elevate teams and bring people together
  • You’re optimistic, generous, and push others to be their best
  • You’re creative, but also grounded—someone who can dream big and deliver bigger
