POSITION SUMMARY:
EarnIn is looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Office of the CEO. This individual will play a critical role in helping to drive the next stage of our growth. This position requires an individual who can partner with cross-functional leaders to shape the company’s direction, solve complex problems, and bring structure to big, business-critical initiatives.
This role will lead high-impact projects, contribute to long- and short-range planning, and help translate strategic thinking into real-world execution. If you’re a systems thinker who loves rolling up your sleeves and making things happen, this role is for you. This individual will work closely with senior leaders at EarnIn and will report to the Chief of Staff / Sr. Director of Strategy.
This is a hybrid position; this individual should expect to be in the Mountain View, CA office 2-3 days per week minimum. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000-179,300 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Partner with the leadership team to lead strategic initiatives across the company (e.g., market expansion, pricing, product strategy, org scaling)
- Support annual and long-range planning, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and roadmap development; support EarnIn’s headcount and investment allocation processes in coordination with the Finance and People teams
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and deep dives on emerging trends to inform strategic decisions
- Build business cases for new opportunities, including TAM/SAM analysis, unit economics, and go/no-go recommendations
- Create board- and exec-ready materials (decks, dashboards, internal briefs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Product, Finance, Analytics, People, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to align on strategic goals and ensure successful execution
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 6+ years experience in management consulting, strategy, or corporate development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure ambiguity into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — you can simplify complex ideas for any audience
- High proficiency in Excel/Sheets (modeling), PowerPoint/Slides (storytelling), and comfort with tools like Tableau
- A bias toward action — you can move fast, prioritize ruthlessly, and adapt on the fly
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly
- Startup experience and enthusiasm for FinTech preferred
- BS/BA required
