Do you thrive on uncovering potential threats, ensuring compliance, and keeping operations running smoothly? If so, we want you to join our team as a Risk Officer! You will play a crucial role in safeguarding Stake's platform's integrity through proactive monitoring, analysis, and regular reporting of customer activity to detect and mitigate potential risks. You will form part of our Risk Team, who sit within our Operations Department, and you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our platform’s integrity, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for our players.

What you will do

You will form part of our Operations Team, and be responsible for monitoring existing reports and alerts on our Sportsbook and Casino product and troubleshoot any issues or concerns to the relevant teams. You will work closely with our Business Intelligence team to design, develop, review and update custom reports and alerts to ensure major areas of concerns are covered. You will also work collaboratively with Business Intelligence, Sportsbook and Casino team to support complex risk investigations and to respond to rapidly evolving threats and implement rule-based analytical solutions

What you will do: 

  • Monitor existing reports and alerts on our Sportsbook and Casino product and troubleshoot any issues or concerns
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to design, develop, review and update custom reports and alerts to ensure major areas of concerns are covered
  • Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence, Sportsbook and Casino team to support complex risk investigations and to respond to rapidly evolving threats and implement rule-based analytical solutions
  • Ensuring the company complies and operates according to the required legal and regulatory
  • Provide day-to-day support to the other teams in the company.
  • Review and implementation of business practices, internal policies and procedures manuals
  • Conduct regular product audits to identify any gaps in risk and compliance

Essential experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • 2-3 years experience in professional environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Product suite, particularly Excel

Desirable qualifications:

  • Experience in Finance, Business or related industry Experience in Risk, Fraud, Payments or related fields
  • Knowledge of Sports betting, Casino or iGaming
