Location:
Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective:
A Multimedia Content Creator is responsible for developing and producing various types of multimedia content, such as videos, graphics, animations, and interactive media. This role will manage the credit unions social media platforms including posting content and responding to comments. They collaborate with different teams, including marketing, design, and content, to create engaging and compelling multimedia assets that align with the organization's brand and messaging. This role requires proficiency in multimedia software, strong creative and storytelling skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Essential Functions Include:
- Lead the end-to-end creation and production of multimedia content (videos, animations, graphics, and photos) designed to enhance member engagement and effectively promote Elevations Credit Union’s products, services, and initiatives. This includes concept development, scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and final delivery for use across digital platforms such as social media, email campaigns, website, and other digital channels.
- Manage and execute the strategy for all social media channels, overseeing content planning, creation, publishing, and community management. Ensure that posts are aligned with the credit union’s marketing campaigns and business objectives. Track and analyze performance metrics, engage with members through comments and direct messages, and adjust content strategies to optimize member interaction, grow followers, and increase brand presence.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, the credit union’s SEO vendor, and external digital partners to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and user experience. Develop and refine content strategies that improve digital rankings, increase organic search traffic, and enhance the performance of paid search campaigns. Ensure multimedia content across all digital channels (website, blogs, social media, email, etc.) is consistently optimized for SEO best practices, relevance, and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized multimedia content and provide social media support that meets their specific needs and goals. Ensure all content aligns with Elevations Credit Union’s marketing objectives and broader organizational goals, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
- Manage and respond to member and nonmember feedback across digital platforms, including social media comments, reviews, and direct messages. Maintain the credit union’s brand voice and standards while fostering positive engagement, resolving issues, and strengthening relationships with both current and potential members
- Develop and execute comprehensive multimedia content strategies that directly align with Elevations Credit Union’s marketing and business objectives. Design content plans for social media, video, website, and other digital platforms to ensure maximum engagement with target audiences. Focus on creating content that drives measurable outcomes, including increased member acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the relevance and impact of content. Implement new tools, techniques, and content formats (such as interactive content or AI-driven personalization) to enhance engagement and keep content competitive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Ensure all digital content complies with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including financial industry regulations, privacy laws, and brand guidelines. Review content for accuracy and clarity, maintaining the credit union’s reputation for trustworthiness and integrity while mitigating legal risks.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor's in animation & motion graphics, digital media design, film or creative arts or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of multimedia experience is required including video, audio, graphics, animation, interactive elements, and photography
- Expertise in social media management platforms, specifically Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok and social media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Media Encoder) and Canva.
- Ability to leverage storyboarding to communicate and establish structure and plan video and animation projects
- Understanding of SEO
- Ability to work with a team and collaborate on shared goals
- Experience with camera/audio hardware, DSLRs, and lighting
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience in financial services industry
- Experience in graphic design
- Experience with UX/UI design and creating interactive content
- Ability to leverage wireframes and mock-ups to get buy-in on ideas, communicate structure, and plan multi-media content
Work Environment:
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full time / 40 hours per week and may require some evenings and weekends
Compensation:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $64,147.52 and $80,184.40 per year, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Anticipated Application Window:
