Claims Intake Specialist
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the healthcare industry? Join our Medical Claims Department as a Claims Intake Specialist! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in helping our team efficiently manage and process claims, ensuring that providers are properly reimbursed for their services. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with healthcare data, and are eager to learn and grow in the field of healthcare administration, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Adjudication: Assist in reviewing and processing incoming claims, ensuring they are handled in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Claims Ingestion: Help efficiently manage the intake of claims, ensuring they are accurately entered into our system and promptly processed.
- Data Entry: Maintain high levels of accuracy while entering critical information into our claims management system to ensure seamless processing.
- Administrative Support: Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including organizing documentation, preparing reports, and responding to internal inquiries.
- Collaboration & Team Support: Work closely with a supportive team of experts, learning from their experience and collaborating to ensure claims are processed efficiently and correctly.
- Continuous Improvement: As you gain experience, contribute to improving processes and workflows that enhance our team’s efficiency and the quality of our service to providers.
All Claims Intake Specialists schedules are Monday-Friday.
- 7:00AM-4:00PM
- 8:00AM-5:00PM
- 8:30AM-5:30PM
Location: Dallas, TX - 100% Onsite
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ work experience, preferably in a customer service, healthcare, or medical claims environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the healthcare and claims processing fields.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work with data entry systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Healthcare Administration or a related field
