About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) for APAC to lead our growth and success across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving revenue, building high-performing teams, and ensuring strategic alignment with Energy Exemplar’s global objectives.

The SVP APAC will combine strategic vision with a hands-on leadership style, inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals while fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and accountability. This role partners closely with global leadership and peers across sales, marketing, product, and operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership

  • Develop and execute the APAC strategy in line with global growth plans.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop regional teams to deliver revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and strengthen long-term client relationships and expand new business opportunities.
  • Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance.
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the region.

Sales & Customer Leadership

  • Drive sales growth by leveraging deep knowledge of the power, energy, and utilities market, ensuring Energy Exemplar’s solutions align with industry needs and customer priorities.
  • Drive achievement of revenue targets across APAC.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, representing Energy Exemplar at the highest level.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align customer needs with product development and campaigns.

Operational Rhythm & Execution Excellence

  • Establish a high-impact operational cadence across the APAC region, including:
    • Weekly tactical reviews with sales teams.
    • Monthly regional dashboards for executive reporting.
    • Quarterly business reviews with performance metrics and territory insights.
  • Coordinate with marketing, customer success, and product teams on joint priorities.
  • Drive alignment and execution across global and local teams through structured governance, planning, and communication.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Expansion

  • Build and scale a strong ecosystem of regional channel partners, resellers, and consulting alliances to amplify reach and efficiency.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage partnership agreements that drive indirect revenue while preserving value integrity.
  • Represent Energy Exemplar at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance thought leadership and brand recognition across APAC.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Intelligence

  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and GTM Operations to deliver value-based solutions and seamless pre- to post-sale handoffs.
  • Translate product value into customer ROI narratives that resonate with both technical and commercial buyers.
  • Serve as the voice of the field to internal stakeholders, sharing competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market trends to refine GTM strategy and product-market fit.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Track record of sales success in enterprise software/SaaS sales leadership
  • Proven expertise in selling to the power, energy, and utilities sector, with a deep understanding of its market dynamics, customer needs and procurement process.
  • Significant experience in the APAC markets with a strong professional network.
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing regional sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, inspire, and build trust across diverse teams.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative leader who fosters teamwork and innovation.
