Director, FP&A
Salary Range: $160,000 - 200,0000K + bonus
 
Position Summary:
 
The Director of FP&A at EverDriven will play a pivotal role in driving and executing the financial strategy for the company and supporting decision-making processes across the company. This individual will be responsible for leading rigorous P&L and liquidity forecasting, with supporting KPI analysis that informs business decisions and ensures alignment with EverDriven’s mission and long-term goals. As a partner to key stakeholders, the Director of FP&A will deliver actionable insights, manage performance tracking, and optimize resource allocation to drive scalable growth and best in class financial operations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead weekly, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes to support strategic goals and align with EverDriven’s mission
  • Business Performance Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis on key performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that inform decision-making across departments.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Create and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for the executive team, board of directors, and investors, providing clear insights into financial health and performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with key leaders from Accounting, Operations, HR, and product teams to align financial planning with business objectives, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Forecasting & Modeling: Develop and manage financial models to project business scenarios, analyze investment opportunities, and assess the impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Risk Management & Efficiency Improvements: Identify financial risks and opportunities for efficiency improvements, driving initiatives that optimize cost structures and improve profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Encourage continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Private equity portfolio company experience
  • M&A modeling and integrations experience
  • Experience in transportation, technology, or education industries is a plus.
  • Proven ability to create and manage financial models and forecasting processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software, including ERP and FP&A tools, Python, Power BI and NetSuite experience a plus, but not required
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
