YOUR ROLE

The General Manager (GM) will own and manage state and partner-level P&L for multiple states. The GM will be the principle trusted partner for the JV practices, working to re-orient to Evergreen’s vision daily through attendance at partner, practice-level meetings, as well as engagement with front line practice staff.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Utilize your knowledge of Value Based Care (VBC) to translate our operational and clinical model in a way that engages and drives internal and external stakeholders in strategic execution and partnership
  • In close partnership with Clinical Operations leaders, track performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Work across central teams to ensure optimized performance of our core business (Engagement & Growth, Reduced TME, Documentation, and Quality) for the market/JV
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with providers, post-acute facilities, and hospitals. Work with these groups to improve patient outcomes and reduce total cost of care
  • In partnership with Business Operations, own the launch of new product launches within the market. The work involves understanding local market dynamics to orchestrate successful product launches
  • As a GM, partner with local partner leaders to guide the practice in transitioning to a value-based care model by implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes, optimize efficiency, and manage costs, often through data analysis, clinical quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative work with clinicians and staff to achieve better population health management and align with payer requirements
  • Leverage trust and influence to drive continuous practice transformation through strategic co-creation with partners, IDT optimization, effective communication, and management of P&L
  • Be a culture champion – cultivating a culture of high performance, transparency, trust, and collaboration
  • Be accountable to develop, set agendas, and own preparation of concise and effective presentation materials and resources required to support and lead board meetings, partner JOCs, and KCE Governing Body Meetings

  • You develop talent, know when to delegate, innovate and iterate with your team, leveraging their strengths
  • You have excellent relationship, communication, change management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and respect quickly, both internally and externally
  • You have a strong leadership presence which inspires others and instills confidence in peers, external partners, board members, and team members
  • You are execution-focused and hands-on; you can effectively toggle between strategic and “in the weeds” activities
  • You are proficient in establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operations and partnership relationships
  • You have the demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative leadership team
  • You understand and are committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • You have demonstrated a strong business acumen of valued based healthcare operations in disease management and population health programs
  • You demonstrate organizational skills, operational rigor, resilience, and commitment to the business
  • You have the tenacity required to drive initiatives forward, overcome obstacles, and achieve goals despite challenges
  • We also strongly prefer:
    • You have previous experience working within a managed care environment especially with experience in administrative/management capacity
    • You have experience in leading the clinical function of a Value Based Care organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a primarily remote environment:
    • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wired to the house internet (Cable, Fiber, or DSL) and hardwired to the internet device is recommended
    • Evergreen will provide Remote or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their position/job
    • Team Members must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay range for this role is $160,000 to $190,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, geographic location and other role-specific criteria.
