Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Intern to join our Alliances team. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to learn about partnerships, strategic alliances, and the intricacies of deal management. The ideal candidate will assist in account mapping, deal resignations, and the creation of win wires documenting successful deals. This position offers valuable hands-on experience for those looking to build a career in business development or strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Account Mapping:
- Assist in identifying key partners and stakeholders within accounts.
- Help map out existing and potential strategic alliances across various industries.
- Research accounts and partnerships to build an in-depth understanding of key players and market opportunities.
Deal Resignations:
- Support the team in preparing and tracking deal resignation documents.
- Assist with documenting deal terms, timelines, and milestones to ensure smooth transitions and successful execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure deal-related information is accurately captured and communicated.
Win Wire Creation:
- Write up detailed “win wires” to showcase successful deals, highlighting key achievements, partners, and business impact.
- Collaborate with the Alliances team to gather information and insights to ensure that win wires are clear, comprehensive, and compelling.
- Assist in maintaining a database of successful case studies and win wire templates.
General Administrative Support:
- Provide logistical support for partnership meetings, events, and internal reviews.
- Assist in compiling reports and presentations related to ongoing or closed deals.
- Contribute to internal communication efforts and tracking of strategic partnership goals.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in business development, sales, or partnerships is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software is beneficial but not required.
- A passion for learning about strategic alliances and the tech industry.
This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $35-$38/hour.
