Senior Brand Marketing Manager

Senior Brand Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Brand Marketing Director, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for managing key marketing efforts - Campaigns, MarCom, Content, PR and Social - and leading marketing initiatives across all channels—B2C, B2B and Clinic.  This position is a member of Brand Marketing Team alongside the Growth Marketing and Creative teams. This position will manage the Social Media Manager and Associate Marketing Manager with the opportunity to grow the team. This is a hybrid role working onsite in Danville, CA every Tuesday - Thursday and remotely Mondays and Fridays. *Please note that we are not in a position to support Visa sponsorship at this time.


Responsibilities and Essential Functions

 

Brand Marketing: 

  • Support all aspects of branding including architecture, reasons to believe, and research which leads to actionable insights to commercialize into meaningful revenue growth
  • Develop Campaign and MarCom planning and activity alongside cross functional partners, to include the development of annual and seasonal marketing strategies that deliver on goals of growing brand awareness across consumer and wholesale channels, conversion, and engagement online and offline
  • Responsible for strategy development, content development and execution oversight 
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with our external PR agency and internal cross functional teams on relevant programs and events including travel when necessary

 

Retention and Education:

  • Drive cross-channel strategies and programs to retain, grow, educate, and support existing consumer base, wholesale accounts, and clinic headquarters
  • Lead and drive roll-out of content strategies across email, education, PR, e-commerce social, etc.

 

Creative:

  • Oversee and liaise with internal and external creative and graphic design resources to deliver against current campaigns, elevate branding in all aspects of consumer communication

 

Budget Insights and Reporting:

  • Build, make recommendations, and manage portions of the marketing budget, ensuring all activations are cost effective and within budget
  • Track and report relevant expenses, providing regular updates to the Marketing Director and delivering insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies for maximum impact and ROI.    
  • Ensure all invoices, payments, and expenses are submitted to finance and paid in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies.  
  • Tracking, reporting, and delivering insights across all marketing channels 
  • Transforming data into actionable recommendations

 

Team and Cross Functional Leadership:

  • Manage and develop growing team of 2+ and lead future organizational development 
  • Ensure strong primary and cross-functional team synergy 
  • Act as a mentor across Brand Marketing Team, providing guidance and support to achieve team and personal goals

 

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 8+ years of related business experience (beauty/consumer packaged good experience strongly preferred); Should include experience as an ABM/brand management training
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills
  • Must be an excellent communicator (both in-person and digitally) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and client service-oriented
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player who can successfully build collaborative relationships and work cross-functionally with product development, packaging, operations, marketing, creative, demand planning and supply chain
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting objectives
  • Ability to own and drive projects with limited direction and to make good judgement calls
  • Ability to own and see projects through; gain cross-functional alignment and leadership buy-in, drive to execution and reporting
  • Highest level of professionalism at all times; calm under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to move around the office including stooping, crouching, and/or kneeling to troubleshoot issues
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Comfortable using a computer, keyboard, and mouse

Salary: $122k-135k per year plus bonus and full benefits package
