Talent Operations ML/DE Program Lead

As a TalentOps ML/DE Program Lead, you will help design, implement, and manage Factored’s talent operations to help drive and enable growth and to achieve strategic, financial, and operational goals. The ideal candidate will need to be a master at wearing multiple hats, and relentless at execution, connecting dots, and making important decisions with limited information. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are a fast and pragmatic problem-solver, and are obsessed with designing processes and continuously improving their efficiency.
In this role, you will help build the backbone of our business that allows us to identify, vet and match our awesome engineers with clients.
Functional Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Workflow Management
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end engineering onboarding pipeline, including sourcing, vetting, and client submission.
- Prioritize enablement services such as resume refinement, mock interviews, and technical prep based on engineers' gaps and evolving client requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiters, technical trainers, and client engagement teams to ensure a seamless experience from intake to placement.
- Oversee the delivery of tailored support for engineers to enhance communication skills, technical readiness, and marketability.
Program Talent Operations
- Serve as the operational lead for talent enablement programs, ensuring consistent execution and measurable outcomes across the candidate pool.
- Design scalable workflows and frameworks to support high-volume candidate pipelines with a focus on quality and speed.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination to improve clarity, documentation, and responsiveness across Talent and Demand teams.
- Support end-to-end matching and placement efforts by ensuring alignment between talent supply and client demand.
Enablement & Experience
- Coordinate initiatives to personalize and optimize the engineer-to-client journey, improving presentation, communication, and technical readiness.
- Align resumes with specific job requisitions to ensure clarity, precision, and adherence to industry standards.
- Manage the scheduling and quality of mock interviews, preparation sessions, and technical upskilling programs.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor key metrics across the engineer funnel (submissions, interviews, offers, and rejections) to identify friction points and performance gaps.
- Leverage data insights to iterate on coaching strategies, resume templates, and technical preparation frameworks.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Deliver reports and insights to leadership on pipeline health, engineer progress, and talent program services utilization.
- Act as a feedback conduit between the Customer Success team and internal stakeholders, adapting enablement strategies based on client insights.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in talent operations, Program Lead, Project enablement, or a related function.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end workflows, ideally in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
- Experience designing and executing enablement processes and programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and timelines.
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience at a top consulting firm or as an operational executioner in a hyper-growth startup setting. Tech experience is a big plus. Tech-services experience a major plus.
- High initiative, self-starting capabilities, with demonstrated ability to identify and seize opportunities for impact in messy, uncertain contexts without direction or oversight.
- Experience in conveying complex information and recommendations in a clear, logical, understandable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on whatever tasks are necessary to get the job done.
- Natural and proven leadership skills that enable you to execute and make an impact by leading and managing other people who may or may not report to you.
