In building the trading, credit, and custody infrastructure, we are enabling thousands more institutions to enter the market and support a more open and accessible financial system. Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Solving: Lead and manage a diverse set of operational initiatives spanning trade operations, credit operations, custody operations, and business operations.
- Strategic Development: Develop strategies and roadmaps for the broader operations organization that align with the strategic objectives of the company.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement scalable operational processes across different departments, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Program Management: Work with cross-functional teams to develop, plan, direct and implement Operational plans.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Trading Desk, Trade Operations, Product, Engineering and other teams to understand and deliver on their expectations regarding client service.
- System Improvement: Create product requirement documents for improving operational platforms and assist with testing and rollout of system changes.
- Operational Risk Management: Provide inputs to compliance and risk teams to design pragmatic controls across Operations function.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations across all operational activities.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of management experience in crypto, tech, fintech, or financial services.
- Demonstrable experience in improving process efficiencies leading to positive outcomes.
- Experience managing medium to large organizations, including planning and cost management, preferably in a hybrid or global remote environment.
- A strong background working with engineering and product teams to improve company efficiency and scale.
- Previous working experience in traditional finance or crypto industries.
- Exposure to spot equity and/or derivatives markets and understanding of underlying parties' policies and positions.
- Familiarity with regulations, controls, and best practices at a FINRA or NFA registered entity.
- Outcome-oriented mindset with demonstrated diligent prioritization and focus.
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to engage deeply in financial transaction execution.
- Extra credit: Strong understanding of cryptocurrency market structure and participants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Digital Assets, trading and project management experience.
- Experience as an early/founding team member or in a high-growth startup.
- MBA or commensurate experience managing strategic business initiatives.
Compensation:
Base pay for this role is expected to be between $160,000 - $210,000 USD for New York City. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, and qualifications.
