As we continue to scale our global platform, the Senior Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in driving strategic technical talent acquisition and workforce planning across Fanatics Commerce’s engineering, product, and data organizations.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Fanatics Commerce, you will serve as a trusted talent advisor, partnering closely with engineering, product, and data leaders to deliver top-tier technical talent in a fast-paced, global environment. This role goes beyond filling positions — it's about influencing technical hiring strategies, building diverse engineering pipelines, and elevating the candidate experience for software engineers, data scientists, and product talent at scale. The Senior Technical Recruiter delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights to identify and close world-class technical talent.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Act as a consultative talent partner to engineering leaders, CTOs, and senior technology executives, aligning technical recruiting priorities with organizational strategy and long-term workforce planning goals.
  • Engage cross-functionally with Compensation, HR Business Partners, Benefits, and related stakeholders at key stages of the hiring lifecycle to inform decisions and drive successful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, product, and data hiring managers across the organization to ensure a consistent, high-quality technical talent acquisition experience.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Champion a high-touch, personalized candidate experience for technical talent that reflects the Fanatics brand at every touchpoint, from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion throughout the technical hiring process, ensuring equitable evaluation and broad representation in every engineering pipeline.
  • Translate complex technical talent market dynamics into clear, compelling narratives that help engineering and product teams make informed, fan-forward hiring decisions.
  • Represent the Fanatics technology employer brand authentically to attract mission-aligned engineers and technologists who are passionate about building world-class fan experiences.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and niche technical talent on a global scale, including talent mapping and competitive analysis of engineering organizations at peer companies.
  • Leverage ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse), LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical CRM systems, and other sourcing tools to streamline workflows and enhance pipeline visibility.
  • Identify and analyze key technical talent, pipeline, and KPI data to uncover trends and translate metrics into actionable insights that shape sourcing and selection strategies.
  • Continuously improve technical recruiting processes in response to evolving business needs, using technology and analytics to drive greater efficiency across the hiring lifecycle.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for critical engineering, product, and data roles across the organization, including sourcing, technical assessment coordination, interview loop management, and offer negotiation.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on technical recruiting progress, challenges, and market trends to senior engineering and business stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Manage multiple complex technical searches simultaneously with a sense of urgency, precision, and a relentless focus on quality of hire.
  • Use data-backed storytelling to align engineering and product hiring teams and continuously refine technical recruiting strategies in support of Fanatics Commerce's bold growth agenda.

AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within a multi-branded, vertical retail, e-commerce, or technology company.
  • Track record of proactive, always-on recruitment—building and nurturing diverse talent pipelines ahead of need through direct sourcing, networking, and talent communities, rather than relying solely on reactive, requisition-driven searches.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, senior-level technical searches (e.g., software engineering, data, platform, and infrastructure roles) and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and leadership levels.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering roles, tech stacks, and the technical hiring landscape, with expertise in sourcing strategies, talent mapping, and competitive market analysis to build diverse, high-quality engineering pipelines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative, data-driven approach to advising engineering hiring managers and senior technology leaders.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and technical sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and CRM systems.
  • Experience partnering with engineering leadership to design and continuously improve technical interview processes, including coding assessments, system design interviews, and structured evaluation rubrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical recruiting metrics and translate data into clear narratives that guide hiring strategy and drive continuous process improvement.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences and building world-class engineering teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
