Senior Electronics Engineer (Lithuania)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing our electrical systems for Fellow newest product lines. You will own the electrical design and architecture for specific products from start to finish.

This position is held in our newly established Fellow R&D Studio in Vilnius, Lithuania.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design: Engineering ownership of the electrical design across multiple products from early concept to launch;
  • Prototype: Iterative hands-on prototyping to help validate concepts functionally as well as support the product level decisions or user testing;
  • Test: Develop and drive design and functional validation testing for electrical components during both R&D and NPI;
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Collaboration with external partners and suppliers to ensure designs can be repeatedly produced at the lowest cost;
  • Documentation: Develop production and support documentation including bills of material (BOMs);
  • Continued Improvement: Expand and improve the team's capabilities, processes, and expertise;
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Required Experience:

  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of hardware experience in consumer electronics, power tools, home appliances (or similar relevant industry).
  • Product development from concept to validation to deployment.
  • Electrical schematic entry, PCB design, and layout. Ideally familiarity with Altium Designer.
  • Expert in debugging tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Deep understanding of the following:
    • System integration;
    • Embedded system design including MCU and memory systems;
    • Processor selection;
    • Analog integration;
    • Sensor design and integration;
    • Low and high-speed digital data transfer (I2C, SPI, USB, UART, etc.);
    • Data acquisition;
    • Sampling and control theory for motors and heaters;
    • Design of BLDC motor drivers;
    • Battery management design;
    • Basics of HF electronics;
    • AC/DC and DC/DC power supply design;
    • EMI/EMC best practices and testing;
    • Digital signal processing techniques;
    • Signal integrity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing best practices including DFM and DFT for consumer products.
  • Working with JDM teams to efficiently and effectively complete programs.
  • Working with contract manufacturers in Asia.

Salary Range (annual gross): 65,000 - 85,000 EURO
