Market and Regulatory Research

  • Conduct research and analysis on markets, counterparties, regulatory and transmission and integrated resource planning (IRP) processes, and other factors that shape Fervo’s development strategy.

  • Support diligence efforts on new opportunities and partnerships, both internally and externally driven.

  • Synthesize complex information into clear, decision-ready findings and recommendations for the development team and senior leadership.

Support Development of Internal Tools for Managing Fervo’s Pipeline

  • Work with the development and internal tooling teams to help design, build, and improve internal tools, trackers, and dashboards that manage and provide visibility into Fervo’s development pipeline.

  • Help standardize how pipeline data, deliverables, and milestones are captured and reported, ensuring tools scale as the portfolio grows.

  • Translate team workflows into repeatable, structured processes and supporting tooling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, public policy, environmental studies, or a related field.

  • Relevant professional or internship experience, with up to three years of experience preferred.

  • Experience with quantitative analysis and financial or data modeling through coursework, internships, or projects.

  • Interest in the electricity sector and power markets; prior coursework or internship exposure is a plus.
