About the Role: Technical Experts Wanted for Sales Opportunity
Are you an IT professional looking to break into a higher-earning career? At Files.com, we believe your technical skills are invaluable in sales—and we’re ready to teach you the rest! We’re actively looking for experienced IT pros, like System Administrators, IT Managers, and IT Directors, who are ready to pivot and grow as sales professionals. Once trained these individuals will operate as an Account Executive.
Our Account Executive role is a premier inside sales position focused on acquiring new customers for Files.com’s SaaS platform. No previous sales experience? No problem! We’ll provide extensive training and mentorship to help you leverage your technical expertise to succeed in sales.
If you're looking to learn sales from the ground up, we also have an entry-level Sales Development Representative (SDR) role that can lead to an Account Executive position over time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leveraging your technical background to sell a well performing SaaS platform
- Selling SaaS subscription packages with an annual contract value (ACV)
- Conducting demos and sales presentations via Zoom and telephone
- Prospecting, qualifying, progressing, closing, and forecasting
- Working with Customer Success to put together technical solutions to customer needs
- Working with the SDR team to find and qualify opportunities
- Navigating complex organizations to win business
This Role is Perfect For You If:
- You have 5+ years in an IT role, ideally as a Systems Administrator, IT Manager, or IT Director
- You’ve helped customers understand technical solutions as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solution Architect
- You’re competitive, action-oriented, and ready to push beyond traditional technical career paths
- You have strong communication skills and are excited about a consultative approach to selling
