Role Overview
The Events Specialist will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of firm events—ranging from internal engagement initiatives to high-profile client events, conferences, and networking receptions. This individual will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, delivering a best-in-class experience that reflects FT Partners’ standards of excellence.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring strong organizational skills, a polished and professional presence, and the ability to manage a dynamic event calendar. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving initiatives independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of a range of events, including client dinners, conference sponsorships, closing celebrations, internal offsites, and employee engagement activities.

Manage all administrative components of event logistics including budget tracking, registration platforms, calendar coordination, and process documentation.

Oversee event operations such as vendor proposals, run-of-show timelines, A/V and technical needs, branding, and budget reconciliation.

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment with firm standards.

Deliver high-touch, client-facing service with an emphasis on discretion, precision, and professionalism.

Provide on-site event support, including guest check-in, materials distribution, and vendor coordination.

Research and evaluate new venues, restaurants, and event spaces to support strategic event planning.

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in event management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and service providers.
Qualifications
-
2–5 years of experience in event planning or related field.

Proven ability to manage budgets and analyze event-related expenses using Microsoft Excel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems and event management software is preferred.

Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and a polished, client-facing demeanor.

Experience supporting senior executives and high-profile clients with professionalism and discretion.
