SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Deposit Accounting Specialist provides financial and administrative support to BPO Team by ensuring FirstKey
Homes reviews and processes Resident Security Deposit payments after move-out, including preparing refund requests for
return of security deposit payments and preparing correspondence to the former tenants to accompany the refunds. This
includes auditing the tenant ledgers for affected transactions prior to refunds being issued and resolving escalated
discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Review and/or process security deposit refund payments and transactions processed by BPO Team.
• Audit tenant ledger adjustments and refunds as needed.
• Audit and reconcile tenant accounts as needed
• Provide assistance and training to BPO Teams.
• Investigate and resolve escalated discrepancies, seek supervisor/manager approval when needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Primarily working indoors, office environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Preferred four-year College Degree in Business, Accounting, Real Estate or General Business or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-year of overall accounting experience
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience using Yardi or similar property management program
• Experience working in property management, real estate, or similar industry
• Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company
