
Executive Assistant to EVP, Head of Deposit Strategy
First National Bank of America is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our team and ensure seamless daily operations. This position provides high-level administrative support to the EVP of Deposits and team. As a critical member of the department, the Executive Assistant plays a key role in helping drive operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives across branches and deposit operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner, ensuring the EVP and their team operate efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with business objectives. The role also acts as a liaison between the EVP, executive leadership, direct reports, branch managers, staff, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who is organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, professionally managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence with timely follow-up
- Manage complex calendars for the EVP and key leaders across Branch operations, coordinating high-level internal and external meetings, strategy sessions, and customer-facing events
- Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, branch performance reports, meeting agendas, and minutes. Ensure timely distribution and track follow-up items to completion
- Support compliance, audit, and operational initiatives by maintaining documentation, tracking deadlines, and assisting with reporting as needed
- Coordinate logistics for regional branch meetings, team off-sites, executive visits, customer or partner engagements, and other department-wide events
- Liaise with branch leaders and cross-functional departments to ensure effective communication and alignment on strategic goals
- Leverage communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, Outlook, etc.) to support efficient coordination and responsiveness
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a senior-level executive support role, preferably supporting leadership in banking, retail operations, or customer experience
- Proven success managing executive calendars, prioritizing across multiple initiatives, and maintaining flexibility in a changing environment
- Experience drafting professional communications, preparing confidential materials, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders at various levels
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across branches, departments, and vendor partners
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Teams, and OneDrive
