
VP of Deposit Servicing
First National Bank of America is seeking a candidate with a servant heart to oversee the daily operational activities of the Bank, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service delivery. This candidate will also serve as the primary leader of deposit vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring service-level agreements are met, and aligning external partners with the bank’s strategic and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Operational Oversight
- Direct and manage branch operations, back-office processing, and support functions
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures
- Monitor operational risk, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client experience
- Jack Henry Administration
Vendor Management
- Serve as the central point of contact for all deposit third-party vendors
- Negotiate contracts, renewals, and pricing to optimize cost and value for the bank
- Ensure vendors meet service-level agreements, regulatory standards, and security requirement
- Coordinate with IT, Operations, Compliance, BSA and business lines on vendor-related issues
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the bank’s goals
- Lead, coach, and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as liaison between the bank and risk regarding operations and vendor oversight
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related work experience
- 2 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (preferred)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
