Position Overview 

TheManager, Critical Facilities Operations Centeris responsible forthe day-to-day leadership of Fleet’s centralized 24/7 command-and-control function for criticalfacilitiestelemetry, alarm triage, dispatch, and event coordination. This leader ensures the CFOC operates with discipline, urgency, and technical rigor while supporting site teams during both routine operations and high-stakes incidents. 

This role is accountable for staffing, shift leadership, training, playbooks, escalation paths, alarm governance execution, KPI performance, and continuous improvement across the operations center. 

Job Responsibilities 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas: 

  • Safety, security, and availability are the most important things we do. Help Fleet deliver near-perfect execution on these dimensions by running a calm, disciplined, andhighly reliableoperations center. 
  • Lead the 24/7 CFOC team responsible for monitoring telemetry, alarms, trends, and operational events across Fleet campuses. 
  • Ensuretimelyandaccuratetriage, ticket creation, dispatch, escalation, and event communications to site teams and leadership. 
  • Build andmaintainshift structures, coverage models, qualifications, and training programs for CFOC personnel. 
  • Own execution of response playbooks, escalation paths, incident bridges, event tracking, and communications protocols. 
  • Drive high-quality incident timelines, telemetry capture, documentation quality, and evidence preservation to support troubleshooting and RCA. 
  • Partner with site operations, engineering, and critical systems teams to improve alarm quality, reduce nuisance alarms, and refine monitoring strategies. 
  • Track and improve CFOC performance metrics such as MTTA, dispatch time, incident handling quality, alarm volume, and escalation effectiveness. 
  • Ensure new sites and expansions are fully operationalized into the CFOC with complete alarm coverage, dashboards, runbooks, contacts, and handoff readiness. 
  • Build a culture of accountability, technical curiosity, professionalism, and operational paranoia. 

 

Education & Experience 

  • 7+ yearsof experience in mission-critical operations, network operations, command center operations, or similar 24/7 response environments. 
  • 3+ yearsofpeopleleadership experience managing shift-based or operations center teams. 
  • Working knowledge of data center critical facilities operations, telemetry, alarm management, and escalation disciplines. 
  • Strong operational judgment and calm execution during time-sensitive or high-consequence events. 
  • Experience with DCIM/BMS/EPMS/SCADA, ticketing/ITSM, and incident tracking workflows. 
  • Strong communicationskills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders clearly and quickly. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build process discipline, improve KPIs, and coach teams in a 24/7 environment. 
  • Willingness and ability to support off-hoursescalation as needed. 

Location: Texas 

Expected Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 + Discretionary Bonus
