Director of Sales, Payment Service Providers

About the role:

As the Director, PSP Sales  you will play a pivotal role in shaping Forter’s presence and OEM strategy selling our fraud and payments solutions (Element) to the PSP/TPA space, inc PSP’s, POL’s, acquiring banks, ACS’s etc. You will partner with our GTM and product teams to support the roadmap and investments for our Element solution, develop a team of SMEs to support global expansion, operate as Forter’s Element Evangelist, representing the company at key industry events and conferences. Finally, you will support the sales motion by engaging strategically with prospects in sales presentations, opportunities and RFP’s, positioning Forter’s capabilities and partnering with sales teams and sales leadership to drive prospect opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

  • GTM strategy for Element (PSP/TPA): Partner with GTM and product teams on the roadmap and investment across all areas of our Identity product, ultimately building a team of SMEs to support global expansion into the TPA space.
  • Forter Element Evangelist: Grow the Forter voice within the Payments ecosystem, including PSPs, acquiring banks, POL’s, ACS’s representing Forter at conferences, events and speaking engagements to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and sales opportunities
  • Sales engagement: Strategically engage with sales teams and directly support key Element opportunities by working closely with prospects.
  • Work closely with our CSM team and existing clients, to solve customer pain points with Forter’s product and map customer expansion.
  • Demonstrate the Forter value in engagements with economic champions and executive buyers within major accounts, positioning Forter's value proposition to relevant business and technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales Development, Strategic Alliance, Marketing, and Pre-sales Solutions Consultants to drive customized presentations, leads, and account activity.
  • Provide market analysis and feedback to shape sales collateral and guide long-term growth.
  • Deploy insight and organizational expertise in the space, including competitors, partners, and resellers.

What you'll need:

  • Highly driven, with integrity, emotional intelligence, and exceptional executive presence.
  • Ability to manage a broad territory and skillfully position Forter’s narrative and expertise through the entire sales process, supported by fraud and security experts.
  • A self-starter with a passion for winning.
  • A strong network and proven track record in managing &/or selling solutions, within PSP’s, FI’s and FinTech globally.
  • Experience participating in account selling in a multi-regional capacity 
  • Bonus: Proven ability to prospect and develop new business, leveraging industry contacts.
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry, including fraud context and familiarity with PSP/FI facing fraud solutions and operations.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments with a track record of adaptability and success in rapidly expanding markets.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to represent Forter at key industry events.
  • Ability to travel as required

Hybrid work:
