Senior Application Developer
We are seeking a Senior Application Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. This position offers the opportunity to telework up to 2 days a week! Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. * Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, actively participating in the development, testing, and deployment of a new enterprise-level financial and resource management systems.
* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and delivering information on project progress and potential roadblocks.
* Participate in customer-facing activities, including product demos and presentations, to showcase system capabilities and gather feedback for product enhancements.
* Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to gather new project requirements and refine existing ones.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, system administrators, and database administrators, engaging in discussions to understand project requirements, share ideas, and plan development tasks.
* Participate in testing solutions to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility, ensuring high-quality deliverables for the customer.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of the system.
* Provide application development and production support utilizing a tech stack that includes Python, NiFi, AWS, Java, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
* Contribute to sprint planning sessions by helping define project tasks, setting priorities, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree. An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TTOs, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science, System Engineering or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.
- Strong customer-facing experience, with the ability to lead demos, gather feedback, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Experience with VueJs
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,00 - $275,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
