Product Designer

Hyderabad, India (Remote)

HIRING AI-FIRST PRODUCT DESIGNERS

Figma is out. Vibe coding is in. We’re looking for Product Designers eager to leverage AI to actually code solutions instead of prototypes.

Imagine how much faster you can learn, how much better you’ll understand the user, and how much impact you can have when you’re iterating on functionality that actually functions.

As of Q3 of this year, our entire Product Design team has retrained to write and hand off code. And we’re not talking about Loveable apps or independent POCs. We’re designing and writing code that’s ready to be integrated into our core applications on Production.

So if you’re a product designer who believes that:

  1. AI isn’t taking your job, it’s giving you superpowers if you learn how to use it
  2. Good design starts with clarity, not complexity
  3. The fastest way to learn is to actually build things
  4. Great teammates share, collaborate, give feedback, and keep ego low
  5. You grow by solving real problems, not by polishing pixels for weeks
  6. Designers should be able to ship ideas, not just hand them off

We’d love to talk to you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Understand the problem
Get clarity on the product or business problem before touching design. This includes understanding context, constraints, user workflows, and downstream impact.
  2. Investigate and diagnose
Dig into root causes, gather evidence, look at current behavior, edge cases, and technical limits. No guessing, no decorating, real investigation.
  3. Propose a clear, logical solution
Translate the problem into a structured solution. You should be able to articulate the reasoning, not just the UI.
  4. Get buy-in for the solution
Present your thinking to PMs, Engineers, or leadership. Align everyone on the problem → solution path before moving forward.
  5. Design and build working prototypes (aka Vibe Code)
Not just Figma screens. You’ll create testable interfaces using Cursor or other AI agents
  6. Translate solutions into product requirements
Write clean, structured requirements that engineering can use
  7. Collaborate closely with PMs and Engineers
Work in real time, not long handoffs. Pair when needed, refine ideas quickly, and adjust based on technical feasibility.

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF

  1. You have 4+ years of Product Design experience
You’ve handled real product areas, not just visual design or agency work.
  2. You carry strong design principles
    Clear understanding of:
    • Interaction patterns
    • Systems thinking
    • Information architecture
    • Product logic
    • Usability fundamentals

You should be someone who thinks before they draw.

  1. You’re comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
You can challenge ideas without ego, and take critique without getting defensive.
  2. You’re open to learning as design evolves with AI
You’re curious, adaptable, and willing to pick up new tools, workflows, and ways of thinking.
  3. You’re resilient when ideas get rejected
You don’t shut down at a ‘no’, you iterate, rethink, and come back with something stronger.
  4. You’ve the ability to think in logic and flows, not just screens
You should be comfortable breaking problems down into steps, states, and system behavior.
  5. You’ve a systematic and clear communication style
You can articulate tradeoffs, reasoning, and constraints without overcomplicating things.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Most designers spend years creating Figma screens that never reach production. This role is different. You will:

  • Work on real product areas that go live
  • See your work influence engineering, ops, sales, and customer experience
  • Design with real constraints, not imaginary ones
  • Understand how systems work end-to-end
  • Build skills that make you relevant in a world where engineering, design, product, are merging through AI-driven execution

This role matters because it makes you a better product thinker, not just a better designer.

Note from Hiring Manager:

Hi, I’m Tiki, your hiring manager.

I want to share a bit of context and set expectations upfront. Fresh Prints isn’t a typical 9–5, and that’s exactly why it’s been such a powerful place for me to grow. In under six years here, I’ve leveled up in ways I genuinely didn’t expect, my skills, confidence, and impact have grown many times over.

Right now, my focus is on building an AI-first product design team for the world we’re already living in. I work closely with ICs to use AI to make sense of messy data, write clear PRDs, design and vibe-code real solutions, test them, and iterate fast. AI is still early, but used well, it’s already helped us increase team efficiency by 60%+, and it’s changed what small, focused teams can accomplish.

What I care most about is ownership and curiosity. I believe the next generation of product people won’t wait on large teams or perfect processes, they’ll be self-sufficient builders who can think clearly, move fast, and take responsibility for what they ship. That’s the kind of environment I’m trying to create here.

If this way of working excites you, I’d love for you to apply!

Fresh Prints is an equal employment opportunity employer and promotes diversity, actively encouraging people of all backgrounds, ages, LGBTQ+, and those with disabilities to apply.
