The Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to own and drive the development of our Core Banking platform’s consumer deposit product capabilities tailored to the Mexican retail banking market. You will focus exclusively on deposit products such as cuentas de ahorro (savings accounts), cuentas de nómina (payroll accounts), pagarés (term deposits), and related deposit servicing features.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and commercial teams to evolve the platform in line with Mexican banking regulations, consumer expectations, and emerging market trends. Your deep domain expertise will empower banks and fintechs to launch and manage compliant, innovative deposit products that meet the unique needs of Mexican retail consumers.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and continuously refine the product vision and roadmap for core banking modules supporting consumer deposit products in Mexico.
  • Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to deliver scalable, secure, and performant APIs and interfaces for the full deposit account lifecycle, including opening, servicing, postings, interest calculations, and account closure.
  • Translate key regulatory requirements from CNBV, Banxico, CONDUSEF, and SAT into clear product specifications and system configurations, including interest rate limits, payroll portability, and tax withholding.
  • Stay current on Mexican regulations affecting deposit products and embed compliance considerations into product design.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to operationalize regulatory changes effectively and minimize client risk.
  • Work alongside Sales, Implementation, and Support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful delivery of deposit-related platform features.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Mexican retail deposit banking products, competitive landscape, and market trends to guide internal stakeholders and influence platform strategy.
  • Support go-to-market activities by providing product expertise for commercial discussions, client training, and external communications.

What you’ll need:

  • 8+ years of product management experience in banking, fintech, or core banking technology, with a strong focus on consumer deposit products.
  • Proven domain knowledge of Mexican retail deposit products, including savings accounts, payroll accounts, and term deposits.
  • Experience working with Mexican banking regulations and compliance frameworks relevant to deposit products.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems architecture, including general ledger impacts, transaction processing, account lifecycle management, and interest calculation methods.
  • Understanding of Mexican financial industry standards such as CLABE (account aliasing), tax withholding on deposits, and applicable accounting conventions.
  • Strong technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, including APIs and integrations.
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.

Success in this Role Looks Like:

  • You’ve delivered market-leading deposit product features that meet client and regulatory needs, enabling banks and fintechs to launch compliant and competitive savings and payroll accounts with minimal custom workarounds.
  • You’ve translated complex Mexican regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications that reduce risk and simplify client adoption.
  • Your expertise and collaboration have enabled smooth client implementations, accelerating time-to-market and improving client satisfaction.
  • Internal teams across Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Support rely on your product knowledge to resolve questions and guide strategic decisions.
  • You continuously monitor market trends and regulations to anticipate client needs and inform the product roadmap.
  • Your contributions have helped position the platform as a trusted, compliant, and feature-rich core banking solution for Mexican consumer deposit products.

What You’ll Gain:

  • The opportunity to specialize deeply in Mexican consumer deposit products within a leading core banking platform.
  • A key individual contributor role driving product innovation that supports financial inclusion and modern banking in Mexico.
  • The chance to collaborate with diverse teams and industry experts in a dynamic, growth-focused company.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • Competitive salary packages and bonuses
  • Supplemental medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
  • Generous vacation and holidays
  • Paid parental leave for eligible employees
  • Great health & well-being benefits including: telehealth parental support, subsidized gym program
  • Fully stocked kitchen (snacks and drinks)
