Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators and cultural moments at scale—as well as a robust influencer marketing business.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

We are looking for a social media strategist to help lead our rapidly growing lifestyle brands, including @cocktails & @recipes.

Working with the Social Strategy Director, Growth and Video teams, you will be the point person for day to day social operations and forward planning for the brand(s). 

You will bring with you deep knowledge of social platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram. Plus a ton of creative ideas and passion for women’s lifestyle content, spanning food, beauty, fashion and wellness.

You will be charged with ensuring all social content is optimized for performance KPIs and works towards hitting our follower growth and engagement goals, while also helping to build our lifestyle social brands and authority in our core verticals.

Roles & responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Director of Social strategy to spearhead all strategic initiatives across platforms
  • Manage the social content schedule to ensure it covers all brand and audience priorities
  • Manage posting and community management on all social handles across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Identify relevant trending/viral topics for the brands to cover daily and how 
  • Ideate original evergreen content and franchise ideas
  • Create video and static social content as needed
  • Produce and present regular reporting, content analysis and strategy recommendations
  • Giving guidance to content creators on how to best structure their content to reach the most eyeballs 
  • Alongside the Director of Social and EP, Social Video, you will be a main point person for the Brand Strategy and Account Management teams to ideate, guide and create social content for client campaigns 
  • You will keep a constant pulse on culture and what’s trending across platforms to inform social content decisions

Experience: 

  • Proven experience building social media audiences and running successful content strategies
  • 2-5 years working for an digital publisher, agency and/or brand
  • Experience creating social-first content 
  • Good communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • You will be a proven creative and data-driven thinker who understands the importance of both art and science when it comes to social content success
  • Experience working with food, fashion and/or beauty content preferred

Base Salary

$65,000 - $80,000 USD
