Title: HR Manager, Employee Engagement
Location: New Jersey (Onsite)
Position Overview:
The Employee Engagement Manager is a strategic HR partner dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, high-performing workplace. This role leads employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and learning & development (L&D) initiatives while driving culture change and organizational effectiveness. Collaborating closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders, the manager designs and implements programs that enhance employee belonging, detect and address flight risks early, and strengthen retention across the U.S. site.
The estimated compensation range is $95,000 - $115,000, dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Develop and execute engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals and values.
- Partner with HRBPs and leadership to design recognition programs, career development opportunities, and retention activities.
- Facilitate surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions; analyze feedback to create actionable improvement plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor and consultation point for employees and managers regarding workplace concerns or discomfort.
Learning & Development
- Assess training needs and implement programs to build leadership, technical, and soft skills.
- Design, Plan and deliver workshops, coaching, and development plans to enhance team effectiveness and employee growth.
- Partner with HRBPs and managers to align L&D efforts with retention and succession planning strategies.
Organizational Development & Change Leadership
- Support organizational change initiatives to improve efficiency, alignment, and culture.
- Facilitate team-building sessions and organizational assessments to strengthen collaboration and performance.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, recommend structural improvements, and influence leadership decisions.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Lead DEI initiatives that advance belonging, equity, and cultural awareness across all levels as needed.
- Collaborate with the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and senior leaders to embed DEI practices into talent processes and communications.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor engagement, turnover, and learning metrics to detect potential flight risks.
- Prepare regular reports with insights and action recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- ~10 years of progressive HR experience, including engagement, DEI, L&D, or organizational development.
- Proven success in leading culture-change, DEI, or engagement projects in partnership with HRBPs.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret workforce data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
