ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a technical and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to join our IT Department. This role will be responsible for driving technological changes and optimizing our Salesforce environment. You will be responsible for supporting end-users, and working with other Business Systems Analysts to ensure the platform aligns with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, and a commitment to leveraging technology to drive business success. This is a 6-month temporary on-site position at our headquarters in Livermore, CA reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Applications.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automations using tools like Flow and Process Builder
- Customize page layouts, record types, and apps to meet business needs
- Perform data imports, exports, and updates using Salesforce tools like Data Loader or third-party solutions
- Manage system configurations including user setup, roles, permissions, sharing rules, and security settings
- Test and implement new Salesforce features and updates during release cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to users
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce functionality and integrations
- Document system modifications, configurations, and customizations for future reference
- Create and maintain end-user training materials to support adoption and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Care, and Operations to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
- Partner with the Manager of Enterprise Applications and other Business Analysts on the team to align Salesforce strategies with broader IT and enterprise goals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices
- Basic knowledge of Apex and SOSQL preferred for troubleshooting purposes
- Familiarity with Salesforce sandboxes and change sets for deploying configuration changes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on user support and issue resolution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in system configurations and data management
- A team player with a collaborative mindset, willing to contribute to the success of the team and the organization
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk and occasionally kneel or squat
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

- Standard start time: 6:30 am PST (negotiable)
- Must be able to navigate manufacturing environment, comfortable around heavy machinery, tools, etc.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, (i.e. safety glasses, bump caps, hearing protection, etc.)
EXPECTED COMPENSATION
$75,000 - $275,000/annual salary + premium benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
