Sr.Software Engineer - Backend
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with experience in Python, Vue.js, and SQL to join our team. We are looking for someone who also has a strong background in SQL, data modeling, and complex data aggregation. The right candidate will have hands-on experience with the Django framework and experience with PostgreSQL
JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, maintain, and implement Python-based solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain UI using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design and develop APIs and service interfaces to support microservices architecture.
• Implement best practices for scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Decompose monolithic applications into microservices and serverless components.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of services.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for frontend and backend components ensuring the reliability and robustness of the application.
• Implement security best practices to protect applications against vulnerabilities.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Utilize CI/CD processes to deliver code from development
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience with Python and backend development.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining UI components with Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience in decomposing monolithic applications into microservices.
• Hands-on experience with serverless technologies, particularly AWS Lambda.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and S3.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Basic knowledge of health care supply chain.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare data rules and standards (such as HIPPA)
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Experience with Django and PostgreSQL
