Network Administration

We're looking for a talented and driven Mid-Level Network Administrator to play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Working closely with our Lead Network Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring seamless connectivity, robust security, and efficient network operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Network Support & Incident Management: Efficiently handle network support tickets, perform initial troubleshooting, and resolve network incidents promptly.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide clear and concise technical guidance to internal teams, explaining network infrastructure usage and best practices.
  • Network Maintenance & Upgrades: Execute routine network maintenance tasks, including system upgrades, security patching, and configuration updates, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain optimal availability and reliability.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Change Management & Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of configuration and change management policies, ensuring all network changes are properly reviewed, approved, documented, and executed.
  • Security Collaboration: Collaborate with the security team to provide valuable network insights, contributing to the development and enhancement of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of IP protocols, static and dynamic routing principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts.
  • Solid understanding of the OSI model.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting WAN/LAN/WLAN/VPN issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive approach to learning and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with routing, switching, firewall policies, and VPN configurations (site-to-site and client-based).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing interconnected Meraki deployments through the Meraki dashboard and API.
  • Experience with AWS multi-account networking concepts.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation.
  • Experience with AWS tools and services.
