
Quality Assurance Engineer III
Job Title: QA Engineer III – Intelligent Process Automation (IPA)
Location: Hyderabad

About the Role
The Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) team at GHX transforms high-volume, manual, error-prone workflows into intelligent, efficient, and accurate automated solutions. As the QA Engineer III, you will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end quality strategy for RPA/IPA solutions that digitize documents such as purchase orders, invoices, and other business records.
This role requires strong experience in validating RPA logic, AI/ML outputs, API integrations, and cloud-hosted automation systems.
This role requires a strong background in validating automated RPA workflows, AI/ML outputs, API integrations and cloud-hosted automation systems and also work closely with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure that IPA solutions meet business requirements, perform reliably in production environments, and are built for scalability and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and own the test strategy for IPA solutions, covering RPA workflows, AI/ML-based document processing, and system integrations.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for both rule-based and intelligent automation.
- Ensure testing approaches are adaptable to different automation platforms.
Test Execution & Automation
- Lead functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing for automation solutions.
- Validate ML-driven data extraction results (accuracy, confidence scores, exception handling).
- Oversee test automation initiatives using tools like UiPath Test Suite, Selenium, or Postman for API testing.
- Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the UAT
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the IPA Developers, Business analysts, Support Engineers, and Product owners to ensure requirements are testable and quality expectations are clear.
- Work with the Support engineers and Product owners to continuously refine the accuracy of the solution
- Mentor,and guide junior QA engineers to follow best practices and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide risk assessments on release readiness.
- Assist in root cause analysis of test failures and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Follow best practices in Quality processes, defect management workflows, and metrics tracking.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards in automation testing.
- Continuously refine test coverage and methodologies based on production feedback and new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in testing RPA or IPA solutions.
- Understanding of Process automation tools (UiPath preferred) and KPIs to measure the success of the automation program
- Experience in validating intelligent document processing workflows and OCR/IDP tools (e.g., UiPath Document Understanding, ABBYY, AWS Textract).
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway) and cloud-based test environments.
- Strong knowledge of API testing and data validation techniques using tools like Postman
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
Preferred Qualifications
- UiPath Test Suite or RPA certification.
- Experience with ML model validation, confidence threshold testing, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Exposure to UiPath Document Understanding, ABBYY, or AWS Textract.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
