Manager, Game Experience

About the Position

The Golden State Warriors and Golden State Valkyries are looking for a Manager to support the seamless execution of entertainment activations during all home games and other Chase Center events. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple departments and assist in the programming and day-to-day operations for game presentation. You will also have the opportunity to be part of the growth of women’s sports and the Valkyries’ inaugural season. This position reports to the Executive Producer, Game Experience.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main showcaller for Valkyries home games
  • Lead the creation of game rundowns, scripts, and other game day documentation
  • Support the development and management of game presentation content
  • Oversee the departmental inventory of necessary props, equipment and giveaway items
  • Assist in the evolution and execution of technology activations to enhance the overall fan experience
  • Support the use of analytics to enhance fan satisfaction and engagement
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing/Sports Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years in event presentation/sports entertainment content programming
  • 2 years of experience directing live entertainment for professional basketball games; WNBA experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and build positive relationships with peers at all levels
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge of technologies in sports marketing and entertainment
  • A creative eye for integration of basketball, Golden State history, Bay Area, and pop culture

Physical Demands

  • Able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time

Time Commitment

  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

  • $72,000 - 77,000 + Bonus
