Position Overview:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and execute innovative social media campaigns and create engaging content for a fun client in the Casual Dining Restaurant space.  If you are a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for social content, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

As a leader on the Social and Content team, the Associate Director will wear many hats. AD’s will be instrumental in developing social-first campaign concepts, insights, and strategies to meet and exceed client goals.  This person should have a deep understanding of social content, always be on the leading edge of culture, and have experience leading compelling social-first campaigns.

A successful Associate Director will thrive:

  • Owning a key client relationship for all aspects of their social programs– ensuring trust in agency and team to drive data-driven results.
  • Demonstrating an ability to present strategies, plans and pitches to all levels of clients including C-level executives.
  • Bringing new proactive ideas to help meet client goals and grow business
  • Developing, training, coaching and motivating team members across community management, strategy and creative teams.
  • Establishing oneself as the social media expert and acting as a resource for advisory for the team and client.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with platform partners, including Meta, X, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.

In partnership with the Community Management team, you will

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global community strategy that aligns with client goals
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content tailored to specific social media platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, respond to community interactions, and manage brand reputation
  • Create and maintain social media content calendars for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to keep our clients ahead of the curve

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in social media, marketing or content creation preferably at a digital agency, platform, brand or publisher.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand stories that connect with the audience
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with ease
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team, fostering a positive team culture, and encouraging creative thinking
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate social media strategies and results to clients and internal stakeholders in an engaging and memorable way

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
