POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Executive (AE) acts as the main liaison between the agency and the client and will report into the Account Supervisor or VP, Account Director. The AE is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the client account including attending client presentations and gaining internal and external creative concept approval. Our work is fully integrated across live-action television shoots, content development, digital, social, and OOH. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role in which you will be a true partner to our clients and cross-functional agency teams ensuring that Grey continues to champion our efforts in making Famously Effective work for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client + Brand Advisor
- Assume the role of main day-to-day client contact.
- Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas throughout the organization, including Creative, Strategy/Planning, Project Management, and Production teams.
- Continually seek ways to add value to the client agency relationship.
- Respond promptly to all client and internal requests.
- Become a subject matter expert in the client’s business, immersing yourself in their history, objectives, market trends, and vision.
- Creative Collaborator and Creative Champion
- Influence the development of the highest quality creative work by sharing knowledge of the client, business, and brand and demonstrate strong creative judgement and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with Planning, Project Management, and Creative departments to write a strong inspiring agency brief and concept based on the client’s initial brief.
- Management of all internal checkpoints for a project, including legal and network clearance, talent management, business affairs and trafficking.
- Populate and distribute weekly/monthly status reports to key stake holders.
- Provide client-service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling reports and competitor trend analyses, tracking usage and performance, scheduling (in partnership with your Project Manager and Financial partners), and organizing logistics.
- Supervise and provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, including oversight of the Assistant Account Executives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing agency, association, or related field.
- Ability to be resourceful and think strategically and creatively.
- Desire to contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work community.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiar with other creative platforms including but not limited to Keynote, PDF.
- Superior language and grammar skills.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
