Senior/Staff Sales Engineer
About us:
Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.
What You’ll Be Doing:
We are looking for a founding Senior or Staff Sales/Solutions Engineer as part of the Partnerships vertical of Grow Therapy. You’ll run demonstrations and scoping calls and be a trusted advisor for health plans and health systems. As a critical partner to the business development and product teams, a Sales/Solutions Engineer will act as connective tissue between Business Development, Product, and Enterprise Partners.
- Business Development
- Partner with the Business Development teams on engagements with prospective and existing partners.
- Assess a wide range of partner opportunities based on business value and impact, and funnel opportunities to the Product team as candidates for the product prioritization.
- Lead product demonstrations and scoping calls with health systems and health plans for B2B and API products.
- Respond to advanced product and technical questions about API products from enterprise partners (including their development teams).
- Curate structured product feedback to enable the Product and Engineering teams to enhance and refine Grow Therapy’s product offering to solve customer needs.
- Implementation
- Provide program management oversight for the entire implementation for API products by coordinating with both partners and setting up regular check-ins with internal Product and Engineering teams.
- Be the primary point of contact for the partner until launch: Respond to emails and inquiries, lead check-in meetings and agendas and triage any new needs to the Product team.
- Work closely with the Product team by highlighting and changes to partner requirements or schedules, allowing Product to make informed product prioritization and development decisions.
Salary range: $130,000 - $200,000
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
- 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, solutions engineer and/or technical program manager
- Technical Aptitude: You have the ability to understand and speak to the technical details of an API product. Including the ability to field questions from third party development teams.
- External Relationship Builder: You have the ability to instill confidence in external partners quickly during product demonstrations and initial business development meetings.
- Business Impact Intuition: You are able to assess a number of opportunities for their short term and long term value and share that POV with Product teams to help inform roadmap prioritization.
- Program Management: You have experience program managing solution implementation and initial launches by coordinating with partners and internal stakeholders.
If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
