Engineering Internship (Summer 2025)

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our 8-week summer internship program. As an intern with Gunner, you will gain practical experience, build professional relationships, and contribute to the success of our organization.

As a Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our VP of Engineering and his team, contributing to key projects and gaining exposure to various technologies that launch Gunner as a leader in the Home Improvement industry. 

 

Functions:

  • Technical Support & troubleshooting:
    • Assisting with diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Supporting employees with IT-related concerns.
    • Assisting with application or web development projects.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting 
    • Generating reports and presenting findings to the team.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data for projects.
    • Keeping records of project developments and troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaboration 
    • Collaborating with different departments on IT or engineering projects.
    • Helping engineers troubleshoot equipment, software, or infrastructure issues.
    • Ensuring engineering work complies with environmental and legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or graduate’s degree
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs in real-time.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully contribute to and/or lead project teams.
  • Open to learning new things, curious by nature.
  • Experience interacting with individuals across multiple levels of reporting including senior leaders.
  • Demonstrates a DFW (Down For Whatever) Attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility

 

Salary Range: $18-$20 depending on academic year.
