Node.js Engineer (Romania)

Job Description:

As an Enablement Engineer, you will play a critical role in our sales process by helping us deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for potential Harper customers. You'll work closely with the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams to understand customer requirements, design and develop high-performance POCs using Harper, and showcase the value proposition of our platform.

This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a strong understanding of web development principles and expertise in Node.js. You'll be instrumental in demonstrating the capabilities of Harper and helping us close deals. This hire will join an existing team located remotely in Romania. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales and Solutions Engineering to understand B2B customer requirements and POC goals.
• Design and develop high-performance web applications,caching, and APIs using Harper and other relevant technologies.
• Implement POCs that showcase the power and flexibility of Harper for specific customer use cases.
• Document POCs clearly and concisely for customer presentations and internal reference.
• Work with the Solutions Engineering team to conduct customer demos and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Harper features and functionality.

Qualifications:

Must reside and work in Romania. 

• Minimum 5+ years of experience developing web applications and APIs.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Node.js
• Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus.
• Fluency in Romanian and English (written and spoken).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Linode, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with monitoring tools ( DataDog, Grafana) and fluency in Linux environments

Salary Range:  20,000 RON to 30,000 RON gross per month (based on experience)
