The Harry's Inc working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. About the team
The Harry’s and Flamingo Accounting team at Harry’s is a part of Global Finance and is responsible for recording transactions, validating completeness and accuracy, and recording and presenting actual results of the financials of the company. The team plays a critical role in enabling senior management to make fast, data-driven strategic decisions for the Harry’s and Flamingo brands.
About the role
This position supports the Harry’s and Flamingo brands. This position will play a key role in supporting the scale and growth of the business, specifically as we become a more global accounting team, through helping the team build efficiencies into the month-end close process, strengthening controls in key accounting procedures, and reporting on financial data in an impactful way. You will be working directly with the greater North American Accounting team and will regularly engage with cross-functional teams throughout the company.
What you will accomplish
- Support the US-based accounting team initiative to serve our UK business with Month End closing tasks relating to revenue, cash, and other general ledger accounts
- Support the H&F Global Accounting team with daily/monthly DTC reconciliations
- Support the team with daily cash applications and monthly cash reconciliations
- Perform key account reconciliations for multiple accounts; all while collaborating with both finance and most teams across the organization
- Support the Accounting Manager with month-end reporting and any ad hoc requests
- Assist in developing, documenting, and improving processes and policies to drive financial discipline across the company
- Assist with accounting for our UK entity
- Assist the Accounting team with the annual audit
- Assist in special projects as needed
This should describe you
- 1+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Ability to dive into solving problems and data inconsistency
- Ability to collaborate within a team
- CPA or similar track, a plus.
- Audit experience in retail, manufacturing or ecommerce also a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- SAP or similar experience would be awesome
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills

- You will work closely with the full Harry’s and Flamingo Accounting team and Shared Services team
- You will communicate regularly with the FP&A, Treasury, Distribution and Supply Chain teams, to name a few

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $56,100-$70,950, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
