The Mammoth Brands working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. About the team
The Global IT team at Harry’s works cross-functionally and across geographies to make sure our company and its employees are set up to be efficient and scale rapidly. This function drives our enterprise systems and information technology infrastructure initiatives globally. Through our help desk, systems implementations, infrastructure initiatives and deep technical knowledge, this team provides services to the entire company. About the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Manager with a strong background in SAP and a proven track record in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Apparel and Footwear (AFS), or Manufacturing industries. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and support of EDI integrations, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all EDI transactions.
What you will accomplish
- Lead and manage the end-to-end EDI function, including partner onboarding, mapping, testing, deployment, and support.
- Oversee and maintain SAP-integrated EDI solutions (S/4HANA), ensuring seamless communication between trading partners and internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal business units (Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Logistics) to understand EDI requirements and drive process improvements.
- Work closely with external partners (retailers, suppliers, 3PLs) and EDI service providers (e.g., SPS Commerce, CLEO) to ensure EDI compliance.
- Ensure successful daily EDI operations including order processing, invoicing, shipping, ASN, and inventory updates.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transaction errors, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Manage and mentor a small team and coordinate with offshore/onshore EDI support resources.
- Partner with SAP functional and technical teams to support system upgrades, new projects, and process enhancements.
- Maintain EDI documentation, including data maps, process flows, and partner specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12) and company data governance policies.
This should describe you
- Preferred 8+ years of experience managing EDI in an SAP environment (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Strong industry experience in Retail, CPG, AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solutions), or Manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN), and tools.
- Hands-on experience with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, CLEO, IBM Sterling, Seeburger, or similar.
- Proven experience integrating EDI processes with SAP modules such as SD, MM, WM, and FI.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex EDI issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environments.
- Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or middleware for EDI integrations.
- Project management or team leadership experience.

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $123,600 - $144,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
