Senior Manager, Scientific Communications

The Senior Manager, Scientific Communications will play a pivotal role in driving the clinical narrative at the forefront of coronary artery disease management by developing and disseminating high-quality scientific communication in collaboration with clinical investigators. This role will work closely with Heartflow’s Clinical and Medical Affairs leadership to support the clinical data generation strategy accommodating technology, product, marketing, market access, and regulatory strategies to support clinical validation and market adoption of our AI-enabled products. Job responsibilities:
- Formulate the scientific narrative: interpret study results into clear and compelling scientific narratives, working closely with the Clinical Data and Medical Affairs teams on hypotheses-based analyses
- Lead world-class content creation: draft external scientific communications deliverables, including manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for major congresses, that meet stringent scientific and editorial standards in partnership with KOLs
- Accelerate evidence dissemination: manage the abstract and publication pipeline, ensuring timely and impactful presentation of key findings
- Provide evidence expertise: maintain knowledge of product and therapy literature and gaps to support scientific message development and publication strategy
- Collaborate to inform a cohesive approach: partner across clinical, medical affairs, and marketing to ensure data is understood for a unified message
What You Bring:
- Deep scientific acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate into clear, compelling narratives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts
- Ability to engage with external KOLs, authors, and investigators
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting timelines, and delivering high-quality material on schedule
Education & Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree (MS or higher) in life sciences, biomedical, or related field is required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in scientific communication, publication planning, and/or medical writing
- Previous experience in cardiovascular therapy and/or diagnostics is highly valued

A reasonable estimate of the yearly base compensation range is $165,000 to $200,000 per year, bonus, and equity. #LI-Hybrid; #LI-IB1
