Strategic Accounts Internship - Summer 2027

POSITION SUMMARY

HexArmor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Accounts Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting strategic customers, distributors, and cross-functional business initiatives. This internship will provide exposure to sales, customer research, Salesforce, product management, marketing, pricing, SAP, and vendor agreements.

The Strategic Accounts Intern will work closely with members of the Strategic Accounts, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to complete meaningful projects that support business objectives. This role is designed to provide a broad understanding of how strategic customer and distributor relationships are managed within a growing organization.

LOCATION

Onsite at HexArmor Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan (640 Leffingwell Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI)

SCHEDULE

This is a 14-week, full-time internship beginning May 17, 2027. Interns will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during our standard business hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Strategic Accounts team with research, analysis, and day-to-day business initiatives.
  • Assist with projects related to strategic customers, distributors, and business development opportunities.
  • Research and organize customer and market information to help support sales and account management activities.
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing customer, product, and account information across various business systems.
  • Support cross-functional projects with teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance.
  • Assist with analyzing business data and preparing reports, presentations, and other materials to support business decisions.
  • Participate in projects focused on customer relationships, pricing, marketing, product management, and business processes.
  • Gain exposure to and assist with the use of business systems such as Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Support additional Strategic Accounts projects and initiatives as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and organize information effectively.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and business processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with Salesforce, SAP, or other business systems.
  • Interest in sales, strategic accounts, business development, or customer management.
  • Previous internship, work, or project experience in a business environment.
