Program Coordinator

Atra: Center for Rabbinic Innovation

Who We Are

Working at Atra: Center for Rabbinic Innovation means joining a lean, dynamic team committed to strengthening rabbinic leadership and supporting a thriving Jewish future. Atra equips rabbis with practical tools, adaptive strategies, and community support to meet the evolving needs of the Jewish world. Through cohort-based programs, learning initiatives, and field-building work, we help rabbis lead with vision, resilience, and impact.

As an organization, we are in a period of growth and evolution, expanding our role not only as a provider of high-quality programs, but as a connector, convener, and catalyst within the broader rabbinic ecosystem. Our work increasingly integrates programs, partnerships, research, and innovation to support the field as a whole.

Atra is fiscally sponsored by Hillel International. Our team is primarily based in the New York City area, with a hybrid work model that includes regular in-person collaboration and occasional travel.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with diverse participants and stakeholders
  • Comfort working with digital tools such as Google Workspace, project management platforms (e.g., Asana), CRM systems, and communication tools
