Director of SEO

The Role

Home Solutions, a prominent and rapidly expanding digital lead generation business in the US, is currently seeking a Director of SEO to join our Home Solutions team. You will assume a senior leadership position in that category and initiate the development of a team comprising SEO & Digital Experience analysts, writers, and link-builders to facilitate business scaling. This role is ideal for an individual who excels at devising forward-thinking strategies and possesses hands-on expertise in achieving top rankings on high-value SERPs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm in growing, managing, and coaching a high-performing team, while driving the strategy of a key category profit and loss (P&L).

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop and articulate a vision and strategy to enhance the performance of the P&L for a new category.
  • Establish and oversee teams dedicated to SEO, content creation, user experience, link-building, and development.
  • Provide exceptional leadership, coaching, and foster a positive work culture within the team.

About You

  • Possess 3-6 years of experience in an operational role within the digital media or customer acquisition field.
  • Demonstrate a strong background in SEO, including a proven track record of achieving high-ranking content.
  • Display a history of successfully leading teams to meet financial performance objectives.
  • Exhibit ownership and growth in managing P&Ls.
  • Proficient in complex analytical problem-solving.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in an analytically oriented discipline such as business, economics, statistics, or a technology-oriented discipline. An advanced degree, though not mandatory, may be advantageous, with many candidates potentially possessing an MBA from a reputable program.

This role demands both comprehensive SEO knowledge (including on-page, technical, and off-page aspects) and solid business acumen. You will be responsible for contributing strategically to shape the vision for our upcoming categories while actively engaging in day-to-day performance analysis. It is essential to provide intentional support to the team's growth through constructive feedback and placing individuals in positions conducive to their success.
