Ready to join us?

Your Role

We’re looking for a Global Payroll Administrator to join our international People Ops team. As this team continues to grow, it currently manages people operations across 22 countries in the EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions. We need someone who will go beyond just payroll processing—this role is about ensuring accuracy, payroll compliance, and efficiency while collaborating with internal teams to enhance payroll operations on a global scale.

As a Global Payroll Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process. You’ll be the payroll expert in these regions, ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with key stakeholders and external payroll providers.
  • Maintaining the payroll calendar. You’ll ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Auditing. You’ll lead year-end payroll processes and payroll audits across locations.
  • Collaborating with partners. By working closely with our global payroll provider, you’ll ensure their service delivery meets expected KPIs.
  • Improving workflows. You’ll constantly evaluate our process and provide recommendations to improve payroll practices.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in London, Leeds, Barcelona or Den Bosche. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced. You’ve managed payroll for organizations larger than 400 employees, and you have either more than two years of experience handling global payroll, mainly in EMEA, or more than four years of payroll expertise in an EMEA country (bonus if it was in the Netherlands or U.K.).
  • Technical expertise. You can use your knowledge to ensure compliance and accuracy across different jurisdictions.
  • Vendor management. You have experience collaborating with external payroll providers, ensuring their service meets expectations.
  • Detail-oriented. Accuracy matters to you. Whether it's data, numbers or documentation,  everything you touch is precise and error-free.
  • Problem-solver. You can navigate complex payroll challenges and propose technical solutions that align with regulations and business needs.
  • Strategic. You’re always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
  • Organized. You know how to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • A team player. You thrive in collaboration, knowing that the success of your team—and Hudl as a whole—is the ultimate goal.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Proficient in payroll software. If you’ve worked with global vendor Papaya, even better.
  • Familiar with a fast pace. Being able to work with time and stakeholder constraints will serve you well.
  • Reporting and analytical skills. These would help you effectively communicate with internal and stakeholders for payroll related technical topics.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
