Your Role
We’re seeking a Software Quality Analyst intern to support our commitment to delivering exceptional software. In this role, you’ll be the user before the user—you’ll be responsible for manual testing, designing test plans and documenting the evolution of our web and mobile features.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Additional testing. Beyond traditional pathways, you’ll be expected to identify and assess edge-cases.
- Use our tech stack. You’ll engage in automated testing, using tools like Playwright and Detox to script in Python and Typescript.
- Be the gatekeeper for our production environment. You’ll determine the deployment readiness of features poised to reach millions globally. You’ll work alongside our accomplished Engineers, Designers and Product Managers, helping us set the gold standard of quality assurance.
Our priority is to hire product interns who have the ability to live in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2026 summer—we’ll cover your housing costs. Need to travel to Lincoln? We'll cover that too.
Must-Haves
- A current student. You’re enrolled in a current engineering or computer science program.
- Passionate. You love software and are fascinated by cutting edge hardware. You know which companies are creating novel solutions with technology.
- Naturally curious. You constantly ask questions and dig deeper into problems to come away with new ideas.
- Empathetic. You may not have been a coach, athlete or recruiter, but you could think critically about their experience and understand how they think when it comes to using Hudl. You understand there’s more than one way to do things.
- Team-oriented. You have experience with and/or are comfortable with working on a team over a span of multiple weeks.
- Coding experience. You’ve used coding languages such as Python, Javascript, etc..
Nice-to-Haves
- Testing familiarity. You have experience using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestRail, Jira, etc. to write manual and automated tests across the testing pyramid (i.e., smoke testing, regression testing, etc.).
Our Role
- Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
- Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
