Your Role
We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our team in Sydney and grow our presence within the professional and community sports markets in Australia. You’ll be the face of our brand across the NRL and AFL, helping everyone from elite professional organizations to grassroots community clubs use our technology to improve their workflows and on-field results.
As an Account Executive, you’ll:
- Manage the full sales cycle. You’ll identify new opportunities, demonstrate our performance solutions and close deals while nurturing the relationships you’ve already built.
- Consult with sporting leaders. Whether you’re presenting to a boardroom or meeting a local club president at the grounds, you’ll show how our platform connects the sport at every level.
- Collaborate internally. You’ll work as part of a team, sharing insights with colleagues and leveraging internal support to get deals across the line.
This role requires three days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in Sydney.
Must-Haves
- Proven in sales. You have 3+ years of experience in a sales or account management role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- An engaging communicator. You’re a people person who can build rapport quickly, present to decision-makers and explain technical ideas in a simple, compelling way.
- Self-motivated. You’re organised and hungry to hunt for new business while taking full ownership of your pipeline.
- Adaptability: You have a "growth mindset" and the ability to learn new software and data tools quickly. You don't need to be a coder, but you should be tech-savvy.
- Willing to travel. You’re excited to get out of the office and meet our customers where they are across Australia.
Nice-to-Haves
- Sporting domain knowledge. You have a strong interest in or understanding of AFL or NRL—if you speak the language of Aussie sports, you’ll hit the ground running.
- Relevant background. You’ve worked in sports management or recruitment, or you’ve sold products and services into the sports and fitness industry.
- Tech savvy. You have experience selling SaaS or working with data-driven products and can learn new software tools quickly.
- Process-oriented. You’re familiar with structured sales processes, including how to manage a pipeline or forecast your month.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.
