Senior Creative Producer
At Hudl, we build great teams. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces.
We think of ourselves as the team behind the team, supporting the lifelong impact sports can have: the lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring coaches; and the opportunities to reach new heights. That’s why we help teams from all over the world see their game differently. Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more.

Your Role
We're looking for a Senior Creative Producer to be the engine behind the ideation and production of content that helps each market connect meaningfully with its audience—and move Hudl's business forward. You'll think strategically and work collaboratively to ideate, produce and develop compelling content that gets results. Writing well and steering the tonal direction of your market is a critical underlying part of the job.
Time spent collaborating with other Hudlies in-office will be a regular part of how you work. We’re currently prioritizing applicants within commuting distance of Lincoln, Nebraska. You’ll be expected to work more days in-office than not, but will have the freedom to coordinate your specific in-office schedule with your team.
As a Senior Creative Producer, you'll:
- Produce and publish constantly. Our markets require a constant drumbeat of content across channels, and you’ll make sure we’re always on. From bigger campaigns to regular social content, you’ll help build the voice of the market across blog posts, social media, video storytelling, product marketing and more.
- Own the creative strategy. You'll initiate original concepts and shepherd them from brief to execution with the conviction of an associate creative director. You won't wait for a brief to hand you a direction—you'll bring one, hold the creative vision across campaigns of various length and complexity, and make real-time calls when execution drifts from intent.
- Speak the language of the sport. You'll bring genuine fluency in the sport or sports you serve—its culture, its vocabulary, its community, its unwritten rules. You can hold a credible conversation with a coach, understand what a player cares about at a Tuesday night practice, and spot immediately when Hudl's marketing feels like an outsider looking in.
- Own the creative content. You'll bring a sharp instinct for what makes a message land—the right headline, a compelling payoff, and work that earns the audience’s attention and rewards it. You're the editorial conscience of the market: not its only writer, but the person who knows when copy hits and when it misses, and can articulate why in a way the team can act on. You'll use AI fluently as a drafting tool while keeping clear creative judgment about the output.
- Lead across disciplines. You'll collaborate closely with creative professionals across design, video, events, web, while working in tandem with channel owners in social, lifecycle and paid media. You'll know enough about design to give a useful brief without over-directing, enough about video to give feedback on pacing and tone without micromanaging the cut, and enough about web to understand how format and placement shape the work. You hold the creative thread across all of it.
- Surface problems early. You'll run creative reviews that designers and video producers actually find valuable, give feedback that's specific and actionable, and catch creative problems before they become production problems.
Must-Haves
- Creative leadership. You've led creative work from concept through execution and can hold a vision across a long, multi-disciplinary campaign.
- Industry know-how and intuition. You know what hooks work and why, and how to build them into content. You can help initiate, evaluate and optimize campaigns constantly.
- Cross-functional fluency. You can give useful, credible direction to design, video, web and events teams—and build trust with people native to fields you may not be.
- Editorial judgment. You have a sharp sense for what makes content land and can articulate why in a way a team can act on.
- Sport and audience curiosity. Whether your passion is already there or gets built fast, you have the intellectual curiosity and cultural respect to earn the trust of the audience you're marketing to.
- AI-forward mindset. You use emerging AI tools fluently as part of your creative process while retaining clear judgment about the output.
Nice-to-Haves
- A strong writing background. Particularly in copywriting, with campaign experience. We're not hiring a dedicated writer—but we are hiring people who can at least understand the craft, and will prefer those who can exercise it.
- Agency experience. Time spent in an agency creative environment will help you hit the ground running.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.

Inclusion at Hudl
Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong.
We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports.
We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
